RECOMMENDATION
Adopt a resolution authorizing the submittal of an application to the Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH) State Housing Fund (SHF) to continue the city's Owner Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Program.
DISCUSSION
ADOH provides federal HOME funds and Arizona Housing Trust Funds through the State Housing Fund. The City of Coolidge has been a recipient of SHF's since 2004. Funds are utilized with CDBG funds to assist income eligible property owner to rehabilitate or replace substandard housing units.
This application will assist up to 5 income certified property owners currently on our waiting list.
FISCAL IMPACT
$300,000 in grant funding.
