Body

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Mayor and City Council approve Ordinance 18-13; rezoning 1778 W. Highway 87 from Manufactured Home Residential (R-5) to General Service (C-3).

DISCUSSION

The General Plan designation for this property is Urban Neighborhood which does not allow for C-3 zoning.  Rezoning the property to C-3 would allow for commercial development along the highway frontage.

The Planning and Zoning Commission, at their June 6, 2018 meeting, held a public hearing on this request, and voted to forward this to the City Council with a recommendation for approval.

FISCAL IMPACT

None.
